Brandon Joe McCoy Obituary, MACON, Ga. — Brandon Joe McCoy, 27, has passed away after he was determined unresponsive while in custody at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center in Macon, Georgia. His unexpected passing is being investigated by authorities as spokespeople work to determine the circumstances surrounding his loss.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies discovered McCoy unresponsive inside his cell at approximately 12:28 a.m. Friday. Deputies immediately began lifesaving measures while emergency medical personnel were contacted and responded to the facility.

Despite the efforts to save him, McCoy was pronounced deceased at the law enforcement center by Deputy Bibb County Coroner Lonnie Miley. Spokespeople have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to his death.
